63rd Annual Rodeo

Come on out and celebrate the 63rd Annual Kispiox Valley Rodeo next weekend, June 5 & 6. There will be all the action that we have come to expect with some new events added just for fun. The Rodeo begins at 1:00 pm on both days. There will be two live band dances, the beer gardens are back, and the beef Bar-B-Q and pancake breakfasts are on as well. The Rodeo events include Bull Riding, Steer Wrestling, and Ladies Barrel Racing to name only a few. Hope to see you there!

Set up camp down by the river on Friday and we’ll see you at the adult dance Friday night and then the pancake breakfast Saturday morning. The Rodeo events start at 1pm Saturday followed by a family dance Saturday night. If you missed breakfast Saturday, don’t worry there is another pancake breakfast on Sunday morning, and again, the Rodeo starting at 1pm. Featured this year is the debut of the newly renovated community hall with more room for dancing and a whole new kitchen. Yee Ha!
