Heart of the Kispiox Valley
Oct 15. 10

BVCU Hazeltons’ Branch Manager, Tamia Hatler, along with Smithers director, Klaus Mueller, were two of many that attended the Heart of the Valley Fundraiser last Friday night at the Kispiox Valley Community Hall. The dinner and auction fundraising event was “A celebration of community & steelheading to raise funds for our beautiful hall renovation project” and was deemed a great success!
Three time World Champion Auctioneer and the voice of the Kispiox Valley Rodeo, Keith Dinwoodie, was on hand for the auction alongside the keynote speaker, Bob Clay from Riverwatch Rod Builder, and Executive Chef & Presenter, Ali Howard, also known as ‘The Skeena Swimmer’. Live music completed the entertainment for the night by the Beaumont Trio.
Tamia and Klaus took this opportunity to show BVCU’s support for the community hall project with a donation of $4,000 to help with the fundraising efforts of the many dedicated individuals who made the renovation project become a reality. Congratulations to the organizers and to the Kispiox community on their beautiful hall!
