Pioneer Day Celebration

Pioneer Day in the Hazeltons was celebrated this past weekend. This year commemorated the 52nd Annual Pioneer Day celebration.
The event historically includes a parade, street vendors, a fire-fighters’ race, live music, and much, much more for people of all ages. This year there was an addition of an Iron Chef competition too. BVCU participated in the parade and took second place for our float. The Bulkley Valley Credit Union staff handed out balloons, frisbees, and candy to the many spectators on the route through the streets of Old Town.
Pioneer Day was once again a huge success and we would like to congratulate the organizers on a job well done for this special day in the Hazeltons!
