A Great Celebration in the Hazeltons!

Pioneer Day in the Hazeltons was celebrated this past weekend. It is held on the second Saturday in August and is a ONE DAY ONLY celebration! This year commemorated the 51st Annual Pioneer Day.The event historically includes a parade, street vendors, a fire-fighters rescue race, and many more games and events for kids of all ages. This year the Hazelton Area Theatre Society (H.A.T.S.) performed two outdoor performances for all to enjoy.
BVCU participated in the parade this year and had H.A.T.S. performers help the Bulkley Valley Credit Union staff hand out balloons, frisbees, and candy to the many spectators.
Pioneer Day was once again a huge success and we would like to congratulate the organizers on a job well done for this special day in the Hazeltons!
