The YES Leadership Camp / Summer Camp
The YES leadership camp provides week long leadership retreats for youth from all over BC. Skills training is offered for teens in the areas of self-awareness, co-operation, communication, global awareness, environmental sustainability and leadership. Participants take part in the creation of a strong community of support, respect and growth in the summer camp. Not only is there a chance to learn and grow, it’s also tons of fun! From canoeing and hiking, to arts and crafts, there are many options for fun activities each day.
The YES is pleased to offer three Roots camps this year for 14-15 year olds. All camps will take place at the Cowichan Lake Outdoor Education Center on Vancouver Island.
A: July 18-24th, 2010
B: August 8-14th, 2010
C: August 15-21st, 2010
Bulkley Valley Credit Union invites all interested students to submit a short essay (about why they want to go to YES Camp) to be entered in our Draw to send 4 Bulkley Valley Leaders to Camp!
Bulkley Valley Credit Union will pay the camp registration fee and $400 towards the travel costs for four lucky WINNERS.
One lucky student from each of our four communities will be selected to go to camp this year!
