Bulkley Valley Credit Union Supports Annual Southside Fire Dept Fundraiser

Bulkley Valley Credit Union was pleased to support the recent Southside Volunteer Fire Department Auction.The annual event is used to raise funds to enhance fire protection for the communities on the south side of Francois Lake.
Bulkley Valley Credit Union has long been a supporter of local fire departments.
Over the past several years, this auction has allowed the Southside Fire Dept. to upgrade the fire hall, purchase a rescue vehicle, refurbish their tanker truck, install water tanks at strategic southside locations to provide water for firefighting.
Also, the additional funding has provided countless training programs.
This year�s auction funds will be used to build another water holding tank. This one to be located at Uncha Rd.
Also additional fire fighter training is planned.
Bulkley Valley Credit Union services and supports our local communities from 4 branches located in Burns Lake, Houston, Smithers and New Hazelton.
