Bursaries Awarded!

Bulkley Valley Credit Union was proud to present $1000 bursaries to six local grade 12 students last month. We wish Melinda, Leeza, Dustin, Janine, Meghan, and Cassidy every success in their future endeavors.
Lakes District Secondary School – Melinda Sackney is going to UNBC, studying Math, Psychology, Physics, and English. She plans to become a Teacher after she is finished her education.
Houston Christian School – Dustin Barden will be attending Columbia Bible College for the Quest and Worship Arts programs.
Houston Secondary School – Leeza Eggers will be attending the University of Northern BC taking a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Bulkley Valley Christian High school – Janine Vis will be studying Elementary Education at Dordt College.
Smithers Secondary School – Meghan Hidber will be studying Business Administration at Okanagan College in Kelowna.
The Hazeltons 2009 Bursary recipient is Cassidy Helps. She was a home schooled student and plans on taking the Culinary Arts program in Prince George, BC this upcoming semester.
