Canucks playing in Smithers?

The Society of BC Conservation Officers is hosting a hockey game with the Vancouver Canucks Alumni on March 28, 2009 at the Smithers Civic Centre. Funds raised at the game will benefit BC Children’s Hospital and KidSport.
The Conservation Offices team is made up from officers all across the province and the Alumni team is made up of retired NHL players who either played for the Canucks or played for another NHL team but now reside in BC.
The Smithers Community Support Committee has made a $500 donation to help sponsor this event and we congratulate the organizers and wish both teams the very best.
