Congratulations Lollyfoot!

Bulkley Valley Credit Union is proud to support the Lollyfoot Dog Treat business in Smithers with our recent donation of $5,000 from the Economic Development Fund.
The business has been in existence for some time and was the vision of a dedicated mother of a very special boy. Making and selling dog treats provides this mother’s child with meaningful employment where new skills are learned and responsibility is taken.
Lollyfoot Dog Treats is now ready to expand and create employment opportunities for more individuals with developmental disabilities in the Smithers area. The BVCU donation will assist in funding the purchase of new equipment for the business. Lollyfoot Dog Treats can be purchased at the Farmers’ Market, the Smithers Trade Show and ordered online. The Smithers McDonalds purchases their supply of dog treats for their customers’ dogs from Lollyfoot Dog Treats.
