Just a little bike ride!

Bulkley Valley Credit Union joined the one other group in Smithers on Tuesday afternoon, June 9, 2009 to raise funds for the Heart & Stroke Foundation and ride the Big Bike!
The weather was good for hte ride and the 30 team members had been practicing their hand signals, songs and the other necessary exercises and stretches. The BVCU TEAM raised over $1,500 for this great cause.
Beginning in April this year, the Heart and Stroke Foundation’s Big Bike hit the streets of Canada and is making its way through more than 200 communities across nine provinces, in an effort to raise over $7 million to support vital life-saving heart and stroke research. Bulkley Valley Credit Union thanks its staff for fundraising and taking part in this very fun and very worthwhile event!!
