Relay for Life Event coming to Houston in June

The Houston branch staff are not only pleased to see the RELAY FOR LIFE event planned for their community, they are very excited to be a Gold Sponsor too!
The Relay for Life in Houston is scheduled to take place on June 6th and June 7th, 2008. We are proud our contribution of $2,500 to this great event and worthy cause. As well, the staff at Bulkley Valley Credit Union, Bulkley Valley Financial Services and Bulkley Valley Insurance Services in Houston have put a team together. They are hoping to raise $2,500 through pledges to match the corporate donation. In 2008, Bulkley Valley Credit Union will be donating $2,500 to each of the communities we serve where a Relay for Life is being held. That means in addition to Houston’s $2,500, the Burns Lake and Smithers events will also each receive $2,500. This makes our total donation $7,500 this year.
