In the weeks to come, we will be celebrating the new season and the successes of 2009!  This little poem will give you some insight to our Spring Celebration:
Roses are Red,
Violets are Blue,

To Shareholders of Bulkley Valley Credit Union

A part of Bulkley Valley Credit Union’s commitment to its members is to return a portion of its profits each year.  We are pleased to report we had another successful year in 2009.  We have declared a dividend of 2.10% on the membership shares which were recently credited to your share account.  In addition, we are also distributing over $370,000 in patronage payments to our members.

Even though our staff truly enjoy serving you face-to-face, we have decided this year to save you the trip into your branch to cash your patronage voucher. We will be automatically depositing your patronage amount to your demand account during the month of April. If your payment includes a refund of loan, LOC, and/or mortgage interest, you will see two separate credits posted to your account to ensure there are no tax implications on the loan interest refund portion. Business and Organization members will be receiving a flat amount that represents a portion of the total patronage funds designated for those memberships. 

Bulkley Valley Credit Union’s future success in based on your continued patronage and we will continue to work hard to earn your support each and every day. If you have any questions concerning this program, please do not hesitate to contact your local branch staff and they would be happy to answer them for you.
