Supporting great projects in our communities!
The Community Builder Campaign allows us to further our commitment to each of our communities. This year, we donated a total of $13,500 to the following four local community groups from the Hazeltons to the Lakes District based on the amount of funds deposited to Community Builder Special product at each branch.
The Hazeltons: The Salvation Army
Smithers: Bulkley Valley Search and Rescue
Houston & District: Topley Community Club
Lakes District: Burns Lakes Curling Club
From 2002 to 2010, the donations totaled over $157,500 to the local community groups chosen to be the beneficiaries of the Community Builder Campaign. 2010 marked the nineth year of offering this special for new RSP contributions, regular deposits, renewing deposit funds, and funds transferred in to the credit union as well.
