Class “A” Membership Equity Shares

Membership in Bulkley Valley Credit Union requires holding fully paid Class “A” Equity Shares having a par value of one dollar ($1.00) each, in numbers detailed in the Bulkley Valley Credit Union Rules (currently as follows):
   
“Except as otherwise provided below, each member must hold a minimum of 25 shares

• Members under the age of 19 years must hold a minimum of 5 shares
• Members over the age of 60 years must hold a minimum of 5 shares ...”

Members may subscribe to a maximum of 1000 shares.

Redemption of Class “A” equity shares is subject to the Credit Union Incorporation Act and to the Bulkley Valley Credit Union Rules.

Equity shares are not guaranteed by CUDIC (Credit Union Deposit Insurance Corporation).

Share dividends and patronage dividends are paid, based on financial performance.
