If you’re looking for a secure investment to add to your portfolio, term deposits with Bulkley Valley Credit Union will help you earn a good return on your money without facing many of the risks inherent in other investments. Our range of products are designed to be flexible and competitive to meet your specific needs - terms from 30 days to 5 years, redeemable or non-redeemable, compounding or non-compounding, automatically renewed or not, and your choice of interest payment frequencies (annually, semi-annually, quarterly, or monthly). With a minimum deposit of $1000 ($100 for junior accounts) our terms are affordable no matter what your budget. If you have a deposit of $50,000 or more make sure you request a special rate quotation.

In addition to our standard term deposit offerings, we sometimes have term deposit specials. These specials will likely come at specific times during the year and often feature rates higher than those posted as well as cashability or reinvestment features.

Don’t forget that funds that you deposit with Bulkley Valley Credit Union are kept in our area to be invested into our communities. Additionally, the Credit Union Deposit Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, a government corporation, protects all credit union depositors up to $100,000 per “separate deposit”*
