Current committees

Seven different committees help to support our community- based banking. As a member, you can be part of these important committees by becoming a director or reaching out to your local branch to ask about our community support committees.

Risk and Audit

They are the liaison between both the External and Internal Auditors and the Board.

Community Support - the Hazeltons'

Their purpose is to benefit the community by supporting local groups and organizations.

Members: Cheryl Mikolayczyk, Kristal Grenkie, Wendy Hunt, Andrea Nikkel, Dean Paranich, Laura Roe, Marilee Yee, Kia Beertma.

Community Support - Houston & District

Their purpose is to benefit the community by supporting local groups and organizations.

Members: Jamie Mayer, Sjoukje Warren, Maureen Czirfusz, Shannon Clarke, Ken Thomson, Sue Jones

Community Support - Lakes District

Their purpose is to benefit the community by supporting local groups and organizations.

Community Support - Smithers

Their purpose is to benefit the community by supporting local groups and organizations.

Conduct Review

Responsible for ensuring written procedures protect our membership.

Members: Sue Jones, Cathryn Olmstead, Troy Souter

Corporate Governance

Ensures that the Board of Directors provides effective governance of the Credit Union.

Members: Tom Roper, Bill Miller, Dan Boissevain, Wendy Hunt

Executive Committee

Have been delegated all authority between Board meetings.

Members: Tom Havard-Chair, Dan Boissevain-Vice Chair, Wendy Hunt-Secretary, Patty Peterson-Alternate

Investment & Lending

Ensures procedures are in place to implement Investment and Lending policies.

Nominations

Receives nominations. Identifies and nominates qualified and committed candidates for Board of Director positions.
