Giving back to our Communities

We set aside a portion of our income to support community projects. Learn how to apply for funding for your community project.

About the Community Support Fund

Through the Community Support Fund, we are committed to benefiting the greatest number of people possible, with a focus on youth, community and education.

We have four Community Support Committees, one in each of the communities we serve. Each committee consists of staff, board representatives and members, and meets monthly to review applications.

Getting closer to the end goal

Cycle 16 Society is working hard at connecting Telkwa and Smithers with a multi-use path for walkers, bikers, and everything in between. They are close to completing phase one of the project and BVCU contributed $20,000 towards their goal through a 80th anniversary legacy grant.
