Congratulations to the Hazelton Branch of Bulkley Valley Credit Union who are celebrating their 20th Anniversary!!
The branch opened on October 28th, 1996 and has been going strong every since.
Make sure to stop by the branch and join in the celebrations, and have some cake!
The Upper Bulkley River Stream Keepers program was developed in response to the concerns of the many volunteers working on stream enhancement projects. The Upper Bulkley River is considered one of the most endangered watersheds in the larger Skeena watershed system. While salmonoids are slowly making a comeback, they have a long way to go. Bulkley Valley Credit Union's Economic Development Committee has supported this important program with a $10,000 donation. This project is also eligible for up to $50,000 through the Aviva Community Fund, so we encourage everyone to register and vote! Please click through to the next page for the link to the Aviva Community Fund page.
The Hazelton Branch of Bulkley Valley Credit Union has been busy this Credit Union Day! They have been serving pie, which was baked by the Telegraph Trail Saddle Club, to members and non-members alike. The branch is also running a free draw for CO-OP Week, and the prizes are rumoured to be pretty fantastic! The branch has also been busy with school tours and a colouring contest, so make sure to stop by the branch this week to take part in the fun!
