Community Funding

Community Support Committee

In 1996 Bulkley Valley Credit Union created a Social Responsibility fund. This fund, since re-named Community Support fund, is fixed in our budget each year as 3% of our pre-tax income. These moneys are distributed through Community Support Committees based in each of our branches. Their mandate is to benefit the greatest number of people, while focusing on the areas of youth, community and education.

The Credit Union’s Community Support Committee consists of staff, board members, and is responsible for receiving donation requests and deciding where these fund are allocated.

To make a request for funding print a Community Donation Request form and drop it off at the branch in your community.

If you are interested in finding funding or other support for your community project, we may be able to help. You can download our donation request form by clicking the download button below and mail, fax or bring it into a branch near you.
