CEBA is now available through BVCU

Getting Started

Before beginning the CEBA Application, there is particular information beyond basic business details that the member should have ready:

  • Member Number. Members can find their member number in MemberDirect; Once logged in to MemberDirect the member number is displayed on the main Account Summary page
  • Canada Revenue Agency Business Number (BN) (15 digits), as reported at the top of the 2019 T4 Summary of Remuneration Paid (T4SUM)
  • Employment income as reported in Box 14 of the 2019 T4 Summary (T4SUM) T4 Summary of Remuneration Paid. (Between $20,000.00 and $1,500,000.00)

 

Eligibility Criteria

The CEBA eligibility criteria have been set by the federal government. For questions related to the government’s eligibility criteria, members can visit www.CEBAquestions.ca, a website set up by Export Development Canada, the program’s administrator, for this purpose.

 

How to Apply

Members complete the CEBA application in Bulkley Valley Credit Union’s Online Banking service (MemberDirect or MemberDirect Small Business). Please note that the application is not available through BVCUs mobile app.

If members cannot access online banking, please contact a BVCU Investment Services Representative for assistance.

To access the Canada Emergency Business Account (CEBA) Form through MemberDirect:

  • Log in to online banking  (desktop only)
  • In the left hand menu, select "Account Services"
  • In the submenu, select " Canada Emergency Business Account (CEBA)"
    • All fields are required unless indicated as an optional field. If data is missing or incomplete, it will be indicated in RED. These errors must be resolved before the applicant is permitted to proceed to the next page.
    • Fields are not validated to the banking system.
    • There are options to print on the confirmation pages of the CEBA application. This is the only opportunity the member has to print the application.

These funds are to help with operating costs during a period where their revenues have been temporarily reduced.
