MSP Premiums are Eliminated

British Columbia residents are no longer being charged monthly Medical Services Plan (MSP) premiums as of January 1, 2020. Enrollment in MSP remains mandatory for all residents. B.C. residents are sent an invoice each month for the MSP premiums they owe for the next month. Any MSP premium payments owing before January 1, 2020 will still be owed. Collections will continue for outstanding MSP payments.

It is important to carefully check your next invoices and make the appropriate updates or cancellations to any pre-authorized debits, future-dated or recurring bill payments.
